I wonder if the subject in the headline is true, but I would benefit from having a pickandplace file that match the BOM exactly. I have optional components designed into the PCB, and as optinal I have excluded those from the BOM. Still all components on the PCB/Schematic are exported to pickandplace file. I guess it could be optional, with a third checkbox in the dialogue for exporting pickandplace, with the text "[   ] Exclude components not in BOM" What do others have to say here.
