Note that this technique no longer works due to a change on the rules for the slot vs hole diameter dimensions.

Illustrating a way to make a Castellated slot using the Slot tool:

1) Place the required number of pads then position and dimension them as required

2) Turn each pad into a slot of the desired dimensions.

The end result should look like the slot on the far right.

Note that in this example the slot has to be rotated by 90 degrees

• It may be possible to achieve the same effect by placing and dimensioning the three pads but only defining the centre pad to have a slot of set to the total required length.
